Got Rythym or Rhyme

Poetry has taken a turn in a revolving way. Many poets share their work on stage, in clubs, and in atmospheres of smooth eccentric class. Soft jazz in the background blowing its horn of imagery to amplify the artist's flow. if you got rhythm or rhyme, post it in the comment section.Let's see what you know. It's urban baby.

  1. check out my rhyme

    JOE

    You are a mysterious one
    Somehow I’ve always known that
I’ve heard many conversations about you
Tossed around from dust ‘til dawn
    I’m frightened; I must admit
    I’m attracted as well.
    JOE

    How did we ever meet
Did you serenade my vulnerable lips with your savor
    Was it your unique aroma
Tussled with my lifeless body while I fell deeper and deeper into sleep
I held to my spreads for dear life
You opened my eyes and lifted me away
    Were the others so easy?
    JOE

    I crave you
From the time consciousness re-enters my body
Until you warm me and electrify me with your foreign ingredient,
    I’m the “Grinch”
    I’m the “_ _ _ ch.”
    JOE

I’m too young to be in Love with someone like you
You are too old for me
You make me feel so energized at the break of day
I’m addicted to someone that can’t be faithful to me
    Who’s fault is this
    Mine, I suppose.
    JOE

    Were the others so easy
I see you with so many
Whose to say you don’t do for them what you do for me
    Were they so easy
    I’m through
    I’m done!
    JOE

    JOE……I’ll see you tomorrow.

    Joe
